It is what it is: the past year of my life.
So it’s been about a year since I’ve posted anything, but here I am, finally posting something. So much has happened in the past year, it feels kinda weird being back. The last time I posted was April 11th, 2012, the day I got my hair cut real short, and the last thing I posted was a picture of me with my new haircut. I haven’t had my hair cut since, and it’s pretty much grown back out, not as long as it was before i got it cut, but still much longer than it was after i got it cut. But I’ve had much more than just that happen in the last year:
-In late May, I went to Toronto, Canada to see One Direction in concert. It was also my first time out of the country.
-On June 20th, I graduated high school.
-In mid-July, I went to Japan, Tokyo and Kyoto specifically, for 10 days.
-In August, I saw 2 concerts: Jason Mraz, with Christina Perri and Marina and the Diamonds, with MS MR.
-In November, I saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, with The Stepkids, in concert.
-I decided i wanted to learn sign language last year before i graduated, so I started teaching myself (using aslpro.com, great site, check it out), and in the fall, I decided to sign up for an actual class. So in the fall, I took ASL 1 at a local night school, and in the spring i signed up for ASL 2 at the same night school. I haven’t finished the class yet, but my last class is tomorrow, so I’m almost done.
-I’m not going to college, I decided to get a job instead, so for the past several months I’ve been working with a job coach and applying for a bunch of jobs online (in the photography field, cause that’s my chosen career). I haven’t found anything yet, but I’m gonna keep applying until i do.
-On March 24th, I celebrated my 19th birthday.
-Over the past week and a half, I went to the tribeca film festival.
And that’s about everything that’s happened to me in the past year, or at least all the bigger stuff. And as always, I’m promising to try and continue posting.

On, Then Off, Then On Again.
I haven’t really been on here much lately, so I have some relationship updates.
My so-called amazing boyfriend broke up with me on February 13th. February 12th was our one month anniversary, and February 14th was Valentine’s Day. Great timing, right?
But, on Friday, March 2nd, we got back together.
He broke up with me because at that point in the relationship he was used to doing more. (I wanted to take it slow.) But on Friday, when we got back together, he admitted that was a stupid reason to break up with me and that he still had feelings for me. (I always had feelings for him. I had hoped we would get back together.) So, we decided to get back together.
I think (and hope) that this time it will really last.

Senior Year, Pt. 3
More exciting things that have happened this year:
-School is going really good. In the past, my grades haven’t been the best, but I’m finally getting my act together, and my grades are really good.
-My love life is going really good. I recently started dating this new guy. Its only been official for a little over a week, but we started talking a little over a month ago. He’s amazing <3
-My blog is slowly but surely getting more popular. I’m gradually getting more followers :)
-I also feel like I’m getting to know my way around tumblr more. I feel like I know much more about its ways.
I guess that’s about it. It’s a short list, but they’re all pretty significant. And with all these things happening at around the same time, I feel more grown up. Like I’m really starting to find my way in the world. Its a good feeling :)

My issue with not posting enough. (Like you haven’t already heard enough about it.)
I don’t post enough. I’ve already said plenty about it, so its obvious. I used to think the issue was me not sticking to a schedule, but now I’m not so sure about that. Maybe if I had more followers I would be more likely/motivated to post more.
